As believers in Christ, we’re familiar with the struggles of living a life in alignment with His teachings. It can be challenging to stay focused and unified when the world brings many distractions. But if there’s one thing we must never forget throughout our journey as children of God, it is the immense power of Nature. In creation, God saw fit to fill this world with beauty – providing us access to a peaceful atmosphere, connectedness to the earth, inspiration within creation itself, and an understanding that we are a part of something much larger than ourselves.

Let us take a moment to meditate on three powerful reminders:

All Things Change With Time

Just as seasons come and go, so do phases in our lives. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5). Nature teaches us that change is inevitable but necessary if progress is ever to be made! No matter how difficult they may seem, we must remember that all things in life will eventually pass and bring about new growth opportunities.

Beauty Is Everywhere

No matter how far away you may feel from Him at times, remember that God’s handiwork is ever-present in the world around us — from breathtaking sunsets to vibrant flowers blooming after rain showers; He provides a beautiful reminder of His love every single day if only we choose to see it. The pastures of the wilderness drip, And the hills gird themselves with rejoicing. (Psalm 65:12)

We Are Not Alone

In Nature, we find solace in knowing that even during our darkest moments, others are going through similar experiences, suffering alongside us in solidarity, so no one person has to face adversity alone. Just as the trees come together to form a strong and sturdy forest, we can also stand united in faith with one another to find strength. While Jesus walked this earth, He promised (and continues) to provide comfort and strength when needed most — even during times when direct interaction seems distant or non-existent, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever” (John 14:16).

No matter what struggle or challenge you face today, look to Heaven and know that joy comes with morning! And should you need more reassurance of strength just beyond reach – turn your eyes towards Nature as evidence of God’s presence on earth!

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. (Psalm 19:1)
