Prioritize Prayer When Planning For The Year Ahead.

Prayer

The new year is upon us, and there is still time to start thinking about the goals and plans you want to accomplish in the coming months. Many people focus on making resolutions or setting other intentions, but one of the most important things to do when planning for the year ahead is to prioritize prayer. Prayer is a powerful tool that can help you to stay focused, find clarity and strength, and grow closer to God. It can provide comfort, guidance, and peace and help create a strong foundation for your plans. Prayer should always be at the top of your list when planning for the year ahead, as it can help to ensure a successful and fulfilling year ahead.

Prayer helps us to stay focused on our priorities, strengthens our faith, and keeps us connected with God.

It can also provide much-needed clarity when we find ourselves overwhelmed or uncertain. We can pray for guidance and peace of mind in times of trouble or stress. It can also help us nurture more profound relationships with Holy Spirit and feel closer to Him than ever before.

Prayer is an invaluable source of support throughout the year, regardless of our challenges. When we prioritize prayer, the Holy Spirit serves as a guide to help us make wise decisions based on God’s will and direction rather than fleeting impulses or emotions. This ensures that our plans are aligned with His Holy will, leading us closer to achieving our purpose in life.

It’s important to note that prayer isn’t just about asking God for things – it’s also about listening.

God wants us to listen so He can provide insight into things outside our understanding or control. Prayer provides hope for situations where hope seems lost, offers comfort when faced with tragedy or sadness, and helps us discern how best to use the gifts He has given us. Learning to listen deeply during prayer and while meditating on scripture enables us to open ourselves up more fully so the Holy Spirit can speak directly into our hearts and minds.

Making prayer part of your annual planning process not only honors God but also allows you access to His wisdom and understanding in a compelling way – something no human effort alone could accomplish! With the Holy Spirit’s guidance, you will gain the clarity and strength needed to overcome obstacles regardless of whatever lies ahead in the coming months.

If Jesus made prayer a priority, shouldn’t we?

35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Mark 1:35

So as you make plans for the new year, take some time to get away and pray. Prioritize prayer this year. Invite the Holy Spirit into your conversations.

You can do more than pray after you have prayed, but you cannot do more than pray until you have prayed.

John Bunyan

So let’s choose prayer first! In doing so, we can rest assured that He will help us create a strong foundation for our plans and be with us every step of the way.

Let’s start the new year off right by making prayer our priority! Happy New Year!

🎉 Wishing You A Blessed 2023 🎉
