Leaning on God’s Strength

Sometimes Sundays can feel like a reset button—a time to refocus and prepare for the week ahead. But other times, we may find ourselves overwhelmed, feeling the weight of everything left undone or the challenges that lie ahead.

Psalm 73:26 reminds us, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

While we are human—prone to exhaustion, worry, or even failure—God’s strength never runs out. He isn’t asking us to figure everything out on our own. Instead, He invites us to lean on Him, to trust Him as our strength and our portion.

Today, take a moment to rest in the knowledge that it’s not all up to you. Whether you feel strong or weak, ready or unprepared, God is with you. Let His strength sustain you, and allow Him to be your portion—your everything—today and in the days to come.

Lord, thank You for being the strength of our hearts and our portion forever. When we feel weak or overwhelmed, remind us to lean on You. Help us to trust in Your unending strength and rest in Your presence today. Amen.
